The installation method is described in detail in the instruction manual. This system is designed to be embedded in the mortar under the flooring. The heating element is less than 1/8' thick, so the rise in flooring height is negligible. No need for a GFCI breaker on the circuit. Beware of other similarly priced products that are made in China.
